Howdy!

I’m Abby, the baker behind Abide Bakery. I’m from College Station, Texas and a current student at Texas A&M University, whoop! I am currently studying Agricultural Leadership and Development with minors in Recreation Management and Tourism Management. Outside of baking, I’m passionate about my faith, my wonderful friends, Dr. Pepper, and my forever-growing Crocs collection (I’m up to 14 pairs).

Abide Bakery began when I was in high school in July of 2018 with my twin sister Sarah. In true older sister fashion, I quickly took the lead, and now she is my biggest cheerleader. What started as a love for baking cookies turned into a passion for creating cookies that are just as beautiful as they are delicious. With the support of my friends and family, I have continued Abide for the past seven years. This summer, I decided to expand the menu and offer cookie cakes, cupcakes, and cake. I’m excited to continue creating sweet memories for others through my baking.

The name Abide Bakery is rooted in my faith. After prayer and reflection, I chose “Abide” from John 15:4: “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.” This verse emphasizes our need for Christ and how we can only find true peace and good fruit in Him. As a business owner, friend, sister, and student, I strive to let the Holy Spirit guide me so that Abide Bakery can be more than just baked goods; it can be a reflection of Him.
